What are Polar Bears?

The polar bear is a hypercarnivorous bear whose native range lies largely within the Arctic Circle, encompassing the Arctic Ocean, its surrounding seas and surrounding land masses. It is the largest extant bear species, as well as the largest extant land carnivore.



How are Polar bears endangered?

Polar bears spend over 50% of their time hunting for food. ... But because of ongoing and potential loss of their sea ice habitat resulting from climate change–the primary threat to polar bears Arctic-wide–polar bears were listed as a threatened species in the US under the Endangered Species Act in May 2008.



How can I help?

1. Try to help and reduce global warming. For example try not to take your car for short distances. Instead walk, or use your bike. 2. Try going or making programs to help and raise money for the Polar Bears 3. Voulenteer some of your time into this
